Bernice Hall (Bradshaw)

Bernice Hall (Bradshaw), 73, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017.  She was born August 22, 1944, in Overton, Nevada to Anthon and Ruby Hall.  Her father worked for Union Pacific Railroad, and they settled in Cedar City.  Bernice grew up with five brothers, having to help raise her younger siblings. 

Following high school, Bernice worked at a sewing factory and throughout life enjoyed sewing clothes and quilts.  She also enjoyed knitting, bottling fruit, and making confectionaries to share with neighbors during the holidays. 

Bernice married John C. Bradshaw on June 21, 1969, and they started their family in Hurricane.  She also found time to support her church Relief Society and sponsor a 4-H Club.  After her children were raised, she obtained her Bachelor Degree from SUU and her Masters Degree from Northern Arizona University.  She taught school in San Carlos, AZ before retiring and moving back to Hurricane.

She is survived by her husband John; sons Russel, Brent, Robert, Justin, James, and daughter Michelle Bradshaw.  She was preceded in death by her father, mother; and brothers William Hall and Michael Hall.  Burial is in the Hurricane City Cemetery.
