Jay Don Olds passed away June 18, 2015 in St. George, Utah.  He was born June 28, 1945 in Cedar to Melvin James and Elva Hallman Olds.  He married Kathryn Gay Blake on January 21, 1967.  

Jay Don served his country as a member of the United States Navy.  He retired after 20 years of service and received an honorable discharge. He loved his family and friends.  

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy, his parents, and brother DeLynn.

Jay is survived by his daughter, Monique Wedin (Paul), son Melvin Olds, granddaughter Alysha Oehler,  grandson William Wedin, and great granddaughter Jasmyn Oehler.  He is also survived by his sister Beverly Schoppmann (Ira), brother Lee T. Olds (Colleen), and sister-in-law Sandy Olds.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jay Don will be laid to rest in the Cedar City Cemetery.
