Lucille Hunter (Hawkes) passed away October 23, 2015.  She fought physical ailments throughout her life and recently fell and broke her hip.

She was born January 20, 1945 to Dewayne Schoppman Hunter and Bettie Vandenberghe Hunter in Cedar City, Utah.  Lucille grew up in Cedar and went to Cedar High with the Class of 1963.

She married Vanez Leroy Hawkes from Northern Utah.  He was a licensed electrician.  He passed away on October 18, 2015--five days before Lucille.

Lucille worked as a beautician.  She did Brazilian embroidery, quilting, cooking, and interior decorating.  She loved being with her family, especially her grandkids.  Her children are:  John Bishop, Heidi (Mike) Stephenson, and Jack (Carrie) Holt.  Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Van Hawkes, parents, and brother Earl J. Hunter.
