HAL COOPER passed away December 21st after a series of strokes. He was born November 5, 1944. Hal attended SUU and graduated with a degree in chemistry and math. He married Nadine Kennington in the Manti LDS Temple, attended graduate school, and was an intern at Argon National Laboratories.

Hal developed a process to save millions by reclaiming silver from the mine waste tailings. He was instrumental in developing a process to reclaim cyanide from the mine's process water.  While working as a contractor for Kennecott Copper, Hal developed a process to extract Alumina from the ground water.

He and Nadine loved to travel. Hal's favorite was the Silk Road through China.

He leaves behind his wife, Nadine; children: Geoffrey, Paula, Rebecca, Aaron, Coray, and Alea.
