ARDIS DALY (RIGBY) has had a wonderful time with her family, and it is not over. She has a houseful of company. Ardis and family just arrived back in Cedar after a great trip to places and National Parks where they have lived. They flew to Colorado and picked up one daughter, then on to Minneapolis to get another one.  Six of the seven family members journeyed on a six hour boat trip out to the Island where the Rigbys had lived. Warren was a Forest Ranger. The island, Isle Royale National Park, where they lived, is in Lake Superior which is the largest of the Great Lakes. The youngest daughter of Ardis was just a few weeks old when they moved to Lake Superior, and is now 47 years old. A few people they knew were still working or living on the Island. They spent four days there.

Also, Ardis has family coming in August. Her mother made them promise the family would get together, and not lose track of each other living far apart. They have gotten together once a year since 1999. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ARDIS.

LENIS DAVIS (MCDONALD) is doing as well as can be expected. She and her husband have had a few health problems and have slowed down. Sounds like most of us. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LENIS

VERN GRIMSHAW says they are doing GREAT. On Sunday, Vern will be a year older and deeper in debt. His family is alright, and Enoch is not burning. The power company, however, has turned off the power because of the fires. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, VERN
